Frequently asked questions

How do I add or save a recipe?

Tap the + button in the bottom bar. You can add a recipe manually, import one from a website by pasting its link, or (with Premium) capture a recipe from your camera or photos.

How do I import a recipe from a website?

Tap + → Import from web and paste the recipe URL. The app extracts the ingredients and steps for you. Free accounts can import up to 10 recipes per week; Premium removes this limit.

How does meal planning work?

Open the Meal Plan tab, choose a day and meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner), and add a saved recipe. You can move meals between days and generate a shopping list from your plan.

How do I create a shopping list?

Add recipes to your meal plan, then send their ingredients to the Shopping tab. Items are grouped by category and can be checked off as you shop.

What’s included in Premium?

Premium unlocks unlimited recipes, unlimited web imports, recipe import from your camera and photos, cloud sync across your devices, and an ad-free experience.

How do I restore a previous purchase?

Go to Settings → Subscription and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you’re signed in with the same Apple ID you used to subscribe.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through your App Store account. On your iPhone, open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, select Recipe Planner Pro, and tap Cancel. You can also reach this from Settings → Subscription → Manage Subscription in the app.

The free version of Recipe Planner Pro is supported by ads. Upgrading to Premium removes all ads.
